The Social Action Day was held on 21 November at the International Congress Centre in Katowice. It was the first event of this kind organized for all the companies of TDJ Group.
During the official gala, CSR projects were presented in which TDJ employees were involved. The meeting was attended, among others, by the employees of: FAMUR S.A. Group, TDJ Group, TDJ Estate, TDJ Foundation, NiUW Glinik and PGO Group, the latter including Kuźnia Glinik Sp. z o.o., Pioma-Odlewnia Sp. z o.o., its branch in Stalowa Wola as well by Odlewnia Żeliwa Śrem S.A. The event brought together over a hundred guests, who were all pleased to jointly celebrate our employees’ achievements in regard to social actions.
Among the noble initiatives honored during the Social Action Day were the painting of a children’s hospital, charity runs and bringing help to the victims of this year’s storms. As many as five employees of TDJ companies received the award: “The Link of Responsibility” – an exceptional statuette for entities with the largest contribution. We would like to sincerely congratulate our colleague, Edyta Haluch, who received the statuette from Łukasz Petrus, the President of the Management Board.
“It is a great honor for all of us. Such awards make us feel valued and appreciated. They contribute to our becoming more confident in what we do. This award also obliges us to undertake new initiatives in the future,” said Edyta Haluch (PGO Group).
We are strongly convinced that the Social Action Day will become a recurring event for TDJ companies in the years to come. Seeing our employees here, and seeing their enthusiasm in helping others and in contributing to the equalization of opportunities, makes us proud to be members of one team.
Thank you for devoting your spare time to bringing help to other people. We are grateful that our corporate social responsibility increasingly influences and shapes our behavior.
